## Contributor, Coach, Senior Finalists Revealed for Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025

**Canton, Ohio** – The Pro Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee has announced the 15 finalists for the Class of 2025, including five contributors, four coaches, and six senior players.

### Contributors

**Art McNally (Officiating)**: McNally served as an NFL official for 32 years, including 19 seasons as the league’s supervisor of officials. He is credited with numerous innovations, including the use of instant replay and the two-point conversion.

**John Madden (Broadcasting)**: Madden was one of the most iconic NFL broadcasters of all time. He called Super Bowls for four decades and was known for his enthusiastic and insightful commentary.

**Bill Nunn (Scouting)**: Nunn spent over 40 years with the Pittsburgh Steelers as a scout and director of player personnel. He is credited with drafting numerous Hall of Famers, including Terry Bradshaw, Mean Joe Greene, and Jack Lambert.

**Harold Richardson (Ownership)**: Richardson was the owner of the Baltimore Colts from 1953 to 1984. Under his leadership, the Colts won three NFL championships and Super Bowl V.

**Jerry Richardson (Ownership)**: Richardson was the founder and former owner of the Carolina Panthers. He is known for his philanthropic work and his commitment to diversity and inclusion in the NFL.

### Coaches

**Don Coryell (Head Coach)**: Coryell was the head coach of the San Diego Chargers for 11 seasons. He is known for his innovative offensive schemes, which featured prolific passing attacks.

**Mike Holmgren (Head Coach)**: Holmgren coached the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks for 17 seasons. He won a Super Bowl with the Packers in 1996 and led the Seahawks to their first Super Bowl appearance in 2005.

**Joe Jacoby (Assistant Coach)**: Jacoby spent 36 years as an assistant coach in the NFL, primarily with the Washington Redskins. He is known for his expertise in offensive line play and his ability to develop young players.

**Dick Vermeil (Head Coach)**: Vermeil coached the Philadelphia Eagles, St. Louis Rams, and Kansas City Chiefs for 15 seasons. He won a Super Bowl with the Rams in 1999 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2022.

### Senior Players

**Chuck Howley (Linebacker)**: Howley played 15 seasons in the NFL, primarily with the Dallas Cowboys. He was a three-time Super Bowl champion and was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1971.

**Joe Klecko (Defensive Tackle)**: Klecko played 12 seasons in the NFL, primarily with the New York Jets. He was a four-time Pro Bowler and was inducted into the Jets Ring of Honor in 2009.

**Ken Riley (Safety)**: Riley played 15 seasons in the NFL, primarily with the Cincinnati Bengals. He was a five-time Pro Bowler and is the Bengals’ all-time leader in interceptions.

**Everson Walls (Cornerback)**: Walls played 14 seasons in the NFL, primarily with the Dallas Cowboys. He was a three-time Super Bowl champion and was inducted into the Cowboys Ring of Honor in 2011.

**Roger Wehrli (Offensive Guard)**: Wehrli played 13 seasons in the NFL, primarily with the St. Louis Cardinals. He was a four-time Pro Bowler and was inducted into the Cardinals Ring of Honor in 2001.

### Selection Process

The finalists were selected by the Pro Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee, which is composed of 49 voters. The committee will meet on February 9, 2025, to elect the Class of 2025.

To be eligible for election, a player must have been retired for at least five years. Contributors and coaches must have made significant contributions to the game of football. Senior players are those who played at least 10 seasons and retired at least 25 years ago.

The Class of 2025 will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on August 8, 2025.
