The San Francisco 49ers are monitoring the status of wide receiver Isaac Guerendo, who missed practice on Friday due to a foot injury. Guerendo, a second-year player out of Akron, has played a limited role in the offense this season, but he has shown flashes of potential.
According to head coach Kyle Shanahan, Guerendo suffered a sprained foot during practice on Thursday. The severity of the injury is unknown, but Shanahan said that Guerendo is considered day-to-day and could potentially return to practice next week.
