Neil Reynolds’ Week 13 Picks
Week 13 of the NFL season is upon us, and with it comes a new set of matchups and storylines to follow. As always, I’ll be providing my picks for the week’s games, along with some analysis and insight.
AFC East
New York Jets at Buffalo Bills (-13.5)
The Bills are coming off a disappointing loss to the Patriots, but they should bounce back against the Jets. New York has lost five straight games and has been outscored by an average of 20 points per game during that stretch. The Bills, meanwhile, have one of the best defenses in the league and should be able to shut down the Jets’ offense. Pick: Bills -13.5
Miami Dolphins at Cincinnati Bengals (-3.5)
This is a tough game to pick. The Dolphins have been playing well lately, winning three of their last four games. However, the Bengals are coming off a big win over the Chiefs and are playing at home. I’m going to give the slight edge to the Bengals, but this could go either way. Pick: Bengals -3.5
AFC North
Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers (-3)
The Ravens are coming off a bye week, while the Steelers are coming off a tough loss to the Bengals. I think the Ravens will be the fresher team and will be able to pull out a close win. Lamar Jackson has been playing well lately, and I think he’ll be able to lead the Ravens to victory. Pick: Ravens +3
Cleveland Browns at Houston Texans (-2.5)
The Browns are coming off a big win over the Ravens, while the Texans are coming off a bye week. I think the Browns will be the more motivated team and will be able to pull out a close win. Baker Mayfield has been playing well lately, and I think he’ll be able to lead the Browns to victory. Pick: Browns +2.5
AFC South
Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts (-3)
The Titans are coming off a tough loss to the Patriots, while the Colts are coming off a bye week. I think the Colts will be the more rested team and will be able to pull out a close win. Carson Wentz has been playing well lately, and I think he’ll be able to lead the Colts to victory. Pick: Colts -3
Jacksonville Jaguars at Los Angeles Rams (-14.5)
The Rams are coming off a big win over the Cardinals, while the Jaguars are coming off a bye week. I think the Rams will be the more motivated team and will be able to pull out a big win. Matthew Stafford has been playing well lately, and I think he’ll be able to lead the Rams to victory. Pick: Rams -14.5

Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos (+9.5)
The Chiefs are coming off a tough loss to the Bengals, while the Broncos are coming off a bye week. I think the Chiefs will be the more motivated team and will be able to pull out a close win. Patrick Mahomes has been playing well lately, and I think he’ll be able to lead the Chiefs to victory. Pick: Chiefs -9.5
Las Vegas Raiders at Washington Football Team (+2.5)
The Raiders are coming off a big win over the Browns, while the Football Team is coming off a bye week. I think the Raiders will be the more motivated team and will be able to pull out a close win. Derek Carr has been playing well lately, and I think he’ll be able to lead the Raiders to victory. Pick: Raiders -2.5

Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants (+6.5)
The Eagles are coming off a big win over the Saints, while the Giants are coming off a bye week. I think the Eagles will be the more motivated team and will be able to pull out a close win. Jalen Hurts has been playing well lately, and I think he’ll be able to lead the Eagles to victory. Pick: Eagles -6.5
Dallas Cowboys at New Orleans Saints (-4.5)
The Cowboys are coming off a tough loss to the Chiefs, while the Saints are coming off a bye week. I think the Saints will be the more rested team and will be able to pull out a close win. Jameis Winston has been playing well lately, and I think he’ll be able to lead the Saints to victory. Pick: Saints -4.5

Chicago Bears at Arizona Cardinals (-6.5)
The Bears are coming off a tough loss to the Ravens, while the Cardinals are coming off a bye week. I think the Cardinals will be the more rested team and will be able to pull out a close win. Kyler Murray has been playing well lately, and I think he’ll be able to lead the Cardinals to victory. Pick: Cardinals -6.5
Detroit Lions at Minnesota Vikings (-7.5)
The Lions are coming off a big win over the Vikings, while the Vikings are coming off a bye week. I think the Vikings will be the more motivated team and will be able to pull out a close win. Kirk Cousins has been playing well lately, and I think he’ll be able to lead the Vikings to victory. Pick: Vikings -7.5

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons (+9.5)
The Buccaneers are coming off a big win over the Colts, while the Falcons are coming off a bye week. I think the Buccaneers will be the more motivated team and will be able to pull out a close win. Tom Brady has been playing well lately, and I think he’ll be able to lead the Buccaneers to victory. Pick: Buccaneers -9.5
Carolina Panthers at Miami Dolphins (+3)
The Panthers are coming off a tough loss to the Dolphins, while the Dolphins are coming off a bye week. I think the Dolphins will be the more rested team and will be able to pull out a close win. Tua Tagovailoa has been playing well lately, and I think he’ll be able to lead the Dolphins to victory. Pick: Dolphins +3

Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers (-3.5)
The Seahawks are coming off a tough loss to the Rams, while the 49ers are coming off a bye week. I think the 49ers will be the more rested team and will be able to pull out a close win. Jimmy Garoppolo has been playing well lately, and I think he’ll be able to lead the 49ers to victory. Pick: 49ers -3.5
Los Angeles Rams at Green Bay Packers (-1)
This is the game of the week. The Rams are coming off a big win over the Cardinals, while the Packers are coming off a bye week. I think the Packers will be the more motivated team and will be able to pull out a close win. Aaron Rodgers has been playing well lately, and I think he’ll be able to lead the Packers to victory. Pick: Packers -1
